Notice on Registration for the Electric Welder Competition of the 17th National Engineering Construction System Vocational Skills Competition

To all participating units:

The "17th National Engineering Construction System Vocational Skills Competition" is a national level-2 competition approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, jointly organized by the China Engineering Construction Welding Association and the China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center. This competition has been incorporated into the "2025–2026 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition" plan. The competition features four occupations (trades): Electric Welder, Cold Work Sheet Metal Worker, Nondestructive Testing Operator, and Welding Equipment Operator. Among these, the Cold Work Sheet Metal Worker and Nondestructive Testing Operator competitions were successfully completed in 2025. The Electric Welder competition is scheduled to be held from April 21 to 27, 2026, at the Hangzhou Xizi Electromechanical Technical School, Xizi Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Competition Schedule and Registration Venue

(I) Competition Schedule

Registration: Full day, April 21, 2026

Competition period: April 22–26, 2026

Closing ceremony: 09:00–11:00, April 27, 2026

II. Fees

(I) Competition Fees

Training service fee for team leaders and coaches: 2,000 RMB/person (includes materials, technical exchange, conference services, and meals during the event)

Training service fee for contestants: 3,500 RMB/person (includes competition materials, inspection fees, technical exchange, conference services, and meals during the event)

No fees for judges and exhibitors

(II) Accommodation Fees

Participants will stay at the Hangzhou Junshang Yunli Hotel during the competition at their own expense.

Standard double room: 380 RMB/room/night

Double bed room: 380 RMB/room/night
