On April 27, the national finals of the Electric Welder event at the 2026 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition — the 17th National Engineering Construction System Vocational Skills Competition — concluded at Xizi Clean Energy. The 17th National Engineering Construction System Vocational Skills Competition was co-hosted by the China Engineering Construction Welding Association and the China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center. It is a national level-2 event approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Initiated in 1993, the competition is one of the earliest and most prestigious brand-name events in the field of engineering construction welding in China.
